Prelude and Opening Hymn

Versicles
O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth will declare your praise.
Make haste, O God, to deliver me;
Make haste to help me, O Lord.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and will be forever. Amen.
Praise to You, O Christ. Alleluia.
Psalmody
Blessed be God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
O come, let us worship Him.
Venite

Blessed be God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
O come, let us worship Him.
Psalm 27:1a, 4-5, 10, 14 (Antiphon: Psalm 27:7)
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.
For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the Lord will take me in.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning,
is now and will be forever. Amen.
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!

Te Deum

Prayers
Lord, have mercy;
Christ, have mercy;
Lord, have mercy.
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
O King of glory, Lord of hosts, uplifted in triumph far above all heavens, leave us not without consolation but send us the Spirit of truth whom You promised from the Father; for You live and reign with Him and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.
Gracious God, we have indeed sinned against You most grievously and deserve only Your wrath and indignation. But we have an Advocate with You, Jesus Christ the Righteous One, who is the Propitiation for our sins. May our transgressions, though many, be forgiven us, that, being justified by faith, we have peace with You; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
Merciful God, create in us a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within us. Give to us that faith which purifies the soul, works by love, overcomes the world, and makes us careful to pursue good works. Grant that, as Your Son ascended into the heavens, so we may also in heart and life ascend and dwell with Him continually; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
Gracious Father, may the hearts that cry to You in their anxiety, distress, and tribulation find rest in Your grace and mercy, knowing that all things must work together for good to them that love You. O Lord, preserve Your people from chaos and violence, from the ravages of flood and famine, from lack of employment and poverty, from disease, suffering and painful death. Grant to us all that peace which passes understanding, so that with a quiet mind we may endure the storms and troubles of life, the cloud and the thick darkness, ever rejoicing to know that the darkness and the light are both alike to You; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
O Father, grant that Jesus Your Son, the King of glory, may be our companion in life and our Deliverer in death, a very present help in trouble. And finally, when He shall come in majesty to judge the world in righteousness, grant, we ask You, that with all the blessed we may inherit the Kingdom prepared for us and have our consummation and bliss in Your eternal and everlasting glory; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, You have safely brought us to the beginning of this day; defend us in the same with Your mighty power and grant that this day we fall into no sin, neither run into any kind of danger, but that all our doings, being ordered by Your governance, may be righteous in Your sight; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our resurrected Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.
Benedicamus and Blessing
Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
The grace of our Lord ✠ Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all.
Amen.
