Prelude and Opening Hymn

Versicles

O Lord, open my lips,

And my mouth will declare your praise.

Make haste, O God, to deliver me;

Make haste to help me, O Lord.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son

and to the Holy Spirit;

as it was in the beginning,

is now, and will be forever. Amen.

Praise to You, O Christ. Alleluia.

Psalmody

Blessed be God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

O come, let us worship Him.

Venite

Blessed be God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

O come, let us worship Him.

Psalm 30:1-5 (Antiphon: 16:11b)

In your presence there is fullness of joy;

at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

I will extol you, O Lord, for you have drawn me up

and have not let my foes rejoice over me.

O Lord my God, I cried to you for help,

and you have healed me.

O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol;

you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.

Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints,

and give thanks to his holy name.

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favour is for a lifetime.

Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son

and to the Holy Spirit;

as it was in the beginning,

is now and will be forever. Amen.

In your presence there is fullness of joy;

at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Te Deum

Prayers

Lord, have mercy;

Christ, have mercy;

Lord, have mercy.

Our Father who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name,

thy kingdom come,

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses

as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

O God, through the humiliation of Your Son You raised up the fallen world. Grant to Your faithful people, rescued from the peril of everlasting death, perpetual gladness and eternal joys; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.

O God, whose blessed Son made Himself known to His disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold Him in all His redeeming work; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, whose blessed Son came not to be served but to serve: Bless all who, following in his steps, give themselves to the service of others; that with wisdom, patience, and courage, they may minister in His Name to the suffering, the friendless, and the needy, for the love of Him who laid down His life for us, your Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve Your sick servants, and give Your power of healing to those who minister to their needs, that those for whom our prayers are offered may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in Your loving care; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

Almighty God, in whose glorious presence live all who depart in the Lord, we give You hearty thanks for Your loving-kindness to all Your servants who have finished their course in faith and now rest from their labours. We offer now our gratitude for Your servant Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, in whom you instilled courage, duty, selfless service and unswerving commitment to country and Commonwealth. We remember at this time all who mourn his loss, especially those who knew him best and love him most. We hold before you in our prayers Her Majesty the Queen. Give her strength, comfort and peace in Christ. We humbly implore Your mercy that we, together with all who have departed in the saving faith, may have our perfect consummation in both body and soul in Your eternal and everlasting glory; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, You have safely brought us to the beginning of this day; defend us in the same with Your mighty power and grant that this day we fall into no sin, neither run into any kind of danger, but that all our doings, being ordered by Your governance, may be righteous in Your sight; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our resurrected Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.

Benedicamus and Blessing

Let us bless the Lord.

Thanks be to God.

The grace of our Lord ✠ Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all.

Amen.
